The verdict:
 
A game of two halves involving an inexplicable second half capitulation meant that Ewell left empty handed, having secured a numerical advantage and early lead. The display was particularly out of sorts given Ewell’s resurgent form and resolute performances since ending their poor run of results at the back end of 2017.
