Ewell’s bleak winter run concluded with their exit from the only competition they had to play for, although their performance was by no means disappointing. 2018 will hopefully enable them to rediscover the sort of form that has become second nature, particularly now that they find themselves embroiled in a relegation scrap rather than a promotion push.
