The verdict:
Ewell’s first half performance alone meant that the result flattered their opponents. However, their calamitous collapse in the second half meant that they could have few complaints about the final score. However, their exit from the competition means that they can focus all their energy on the remaining 9 league fixtures, with their promotion aspirations very much alive.
