The verdict:
 
A humbling defeat saw Ewell crash out of the County Cup at the first hurdle. Whilst this is not the first season in which this has happened, they will not be too disappointed if they can replicate the sort of reaction they have demonstrate in previous seasons, as their exit has often catalysed an impressive run of form. On the day they were outplayed by a good passing side, yet there is still much to play for as they remain in the hunt elsewhere.
