Preview:
Off the back of a resounding win last week, Ewell took to the road for their first away clash of the season. Having triumphed 3-1 and 1-0 in their encounters with Wilf Kroucher last year, Ewell had reasons to believe that they could return home with three points in the bag.

FULL TIME - Wilf Kroucher 1 – AFC Ewell 4
The verdict:
Ewell made a blistering start to the contest and carved out a series of promising openings within the first 10 minutes, just without making their dominance pay. The narrow lead that they did manage to gain put them in a commanding position for the majority of proceedings, although legs tired for the final 15 minutes of the first half and Kroucherthreatened at times with their direct play and physicality. Ransom’s heroics kept Ewell’s nose in front and they picked off a fading opposition for the second week running.
